Dilith is a seasoned professional in CSR domain with over four decades of rich experience in implementing and leading the development projects across various thematic areas. Her expertise encompasses diverse development initiatives in Livelihood, Rural and Community Development, Watershed Management, Mother & Child Health, Tribal Development, Women Empowerment and Networking and Collaborations. In her long association with the Tata group, she has served as Head of CSR in Tata Metaliks, Head- Empowerment in Tata Steel, and Advisor to the CSR & Affirmative Action Apex Committee for CSR. She was the ex-officio unit head to Tata Steel sponsored Rural Development Society and Tribal Cultural Society for about two decades. She has worked with large number of Self Help Groups and micro enterprises including capacity building, initiating microenterprise and collaborated with government agencies such as NABARD, Paschim Banga Society for Skill Development and Jharkhand State AIDS Control Society etc.
Dilth received the “Leading Women in Asia Award” by World Business Council for Sustainable Development in Singapore in the year 2018. She had also received one year fellowship on “Visionary Leadership Programme” by a Consortium of ICOMP in Malaysia, Partners in Bangladesh, CAFS in Kenya and supported by The David and Lucile Packard Foundation.
Dilith is an MSW from Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) Mumbai and is a Certified Counsellor on Sexuality & HIV/AIDS.
