Action Research

Research that listens, action that uplifts…

We believe, action research is not just about studying problems—it is about solving them together. In social development and sustainability, it turns communities into partners, ensuring that solutions are rooted in real lives.
The process begins with identifying a core problem or development gap in the community through field observation and stakeholder interaction. Baseline data is collected to understand the social, economic, or behavioral dimensions of the issue. Based on findings, relevant research framework is designed for intervention using tools like OECD-DAC, AARQA, RCT, SLF, SROI and UNSDG frameworks etc.
It involves participatory planning, continuous observation and documentation, evaluation and reflection, and knowledge generation. This collaborative approach builds ownership and relevance of the research process.
Action research is an investment in transformation. It fuels innovation, strengthens resilience, and creates models that can be replicated across regions. Together, we can turn research into action, and action into lasting change.
